Why We’re Moving Out of the Union Office — and What It Means for You
On Wednesday, the Department of Veterans Affairs terminated most of its union contracts nationwide.
This includes AFGE Local 2328’s agreement covering our office space here at Hampton VAMC.
We’ve been ordered to vacate our union office by Tuesday, August 12. We are packing this weekend and will move on Saturday.
This is not unique to Hampton — VA facilities across the country are being hit with the same order.
